A 1. To be eligible for CTET Paper 1, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Option 1. Completion of Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and either passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Option 2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.
A 2. The CTET exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question has four options, and candidates must select the correct answer. The questions cover various subjects, including:
