Download DSSSB Admit Card 2026, Tips to Resolve Common Login Issues

1 October 2026: Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is conducting various online exams from 21 September to 24 October 2026. The deadline to apply for DSSSB Advertisement 03/2026 was 30 September 2026. As of now, no exam date is available for this advertisement. Candidates are suggested to confirm the exam date on the official website of DSSSB.

Candidates can download their DSSSB e-admit card from dsssb.delhi.gov.in. To download, candidates must log in with their application number and date of birth/password. If you face any login issues, or the page does not open, then the reasons are mentioned below.

• Visit the official website: dsssb.delhi.gov.in
• Go to the latest news/ notices and click on the link, “Download E-Admit Card” for your exam date.
• Enter your Application Number and your password/Date of Birth.
• Submit the details.
• Wait for your Admit Card to open.
• Save the file to your computer and/or phone and print a copy for yourself.

Every link is specific to a certain time, so read the notice title before you click. Clicking a different title will not show you your Admit Card.

What is the application number in a DSSSB admit card?

The application number is the unique ID generated when you complete your DSSSB application form. It is printed on your admit card and it is the main detail you need to log in. The roll number is a different thing. It is printed on the admit card for the exam, and you cannot use it as your login ID.

DSSSB admit card download problem: common errors and fixes

Invalid credentials error

This is the most common complaint, and it is usually a typing or format mistake. Check these points one by one:

• Type the Application Number exactly as given, with no space before or after it.
• Enter the date of birth in the same format you used at the time of application.
• Do not enter the roll number in place of the Application Number.
• Switch off Caps Lock if you are typing a password.

If you changed your password recently, use the new one, not the old one saved in your browser.

DSSSB site not working or opening slowly

When an admit card link goes live, thousands of candidates open the website at the same time, and the server slows down. Refreshing again and again only makes things worse. Close the page, clear your browser cache, and try again after some time. A different browser such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox can also help, and early morning is often calmer than the evening.

Not able to download the DSSSB admit card

Sometimes the card opens on the screen but the file does not save. In that case, your browser may be blocking pop-ups or downloads from the website. Allow them in the browser settings, or try the same steps on a laptop instead of a phone.

DSSSB admit card not showing

There are two common reasons. The admit card for your exam may not be released yet, because DSSSB publishes cards according to the exam schedule. Or you may have opened the link meant for another exam period. Match your exam date from the schedule notice with the title of the link, and check again the next day if the card is still not there.

How to get your DSSSB registration number if you forgot it

Many candidates say "registration number" for what the website calls the Application Number, so both mean the same thing here. If the login page has a "Forgot Application Number" or "Forgot Password" option, use it. If nothing works, write to DSSSB through the contact details given on its official website, and do it early, not on the night before the exam.

What to check on your admit card

Read the whole card once it is downloaded. A mistake found at home can still be reported, but one found at the exam gate cannot. Check these points:

• Your name, father's name and date of birth
• The post you applied for, such as PRT, TGT or PGT
• Exam date, shift, reporting time and centre address
• Your photograph and signature, which should be clear and visible

If any detail is wrong, or your photo or signature is missing, report it to DSSSB at once and keep your application proof ready. Since the centre address is usually final, look at the route and travel time the same day.

How to print it properly

• Use A4 paper and print at actual size.
• Prefer a colour print, so the photo and barcode stay sharp.
• Keep a second copy in a separate bag or with a family member.
• Do not fold the paper across the photograph or the barcode.

Exam day: what to carry and what to leave at home

Carry: your printed admit card, an original photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Passport, and a passport-size photograph if your admit card asks for one.

Leave at home: mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, notes and bags. Your admit card lists the exact instructions and banned items for your exam, so read that list the night before. Reach the centre a little early, because document and identity checks take time at the entry.
